Death by Peanut
This is one of the earliest of my "pointless" mini strips.
I like it alot, and I've used the little guy on several occasions since.
I came up with this character one day during an animal anatomy class.
It's what the unholy offspring of a tick and a wrm would look like. If any
thing was actually going to appear like that in nature though, I figured it
would have to be the results of a "chance mutation." Thus, our hero is born.
I really like this one. My roommate actually suggested
replacing the paint splatters with blank, generic images
of people, since it could be "anyone" having the conversation.
I decided to stick with my original concept n the end.
This one means much less than you may think. It's still one of my favorites.
My old Roommate once pointed out that my method of drawing animals is to
stick a non-human head on a typical humanoid body. Um, It's a technique....
Another favorite. I had alot of fun drawing this guy, and alot of problems as well.
I ended up draing each pose on a seperate sheet, then scaning them
all in and arranging them. It was a pain, because I didn't think enough about the layout
while drawing, so the composition looks weird.
I did these drawings without an idea what the dialogue would be.
My freind Richard filled in the blanks. It's funny because it's true.
Another doodle. What does it mean? More importantly, what doesn't it mean?
This is not a fan favorite. My test group (Rich) didn't like it.
Maybe you will. Regardless, it's a good description of how I feel sometimes,
so I decided to put it up here.
